Healthy Eating Policy
Goal:
To collaboratively facilitate and build capacity for the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive healthy eating policies and or/guidelines aimed at improving the nutritional health of all Islanders in multiple settings.
- Ensure that all Island schools are implementing school nutrition policies based on best evidence and practice.
- Ensure that all Island licensed early childhood centres are implementing healthy eating guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of healthy eating policies/guidelines within community settings, as well as provide support to these policies/guidelines.
